Liverpool 0-1 Fulham -5 Dec, 2011

Preview: Kenny Dalglish will look to continue the revival of Liverpool once again as he welcomes Steven Gerrard back into the fold against Fulham at craven cottage. The influential skipper has had to sit out the dawn of Dalglish’s new reign at the club due to bad luck with injuries, but will be hopeful that all his injury worries are behind him and he can lead the team with elan when they visit Fulham grounds today. Dalglish has no new injuries to worry about as he looks to win and keep pace with the top 4. Steven Gerrard will probably replace Christian Poulsen in midfield and three points tonight will ensure that Liverpool climb the table and move up into sixth or even fifth place depending on goal difference. However, despite the squad being lifted by Dalglish’s presence, Mark Hughes will be looking to continue his teams good form which saw Fulham beat Stoke last week as they are just two points above the relegation zone.
This game, then, looks to have all the makings of a scrappy, yet passionate display. Liverpool will be looking to compound more misery on Fulham and might just end up winning this one comfortably 3-0.
