Preview: German side Bayer Leverkusen surprisingly took control of Group E on match day five after their last-gasp victory over Chelsea. Now Bayer will face the group minnows Racing Genk in their final game, and they are odds-on to take top spot with victory as Genk have managed only two points so far in 5 games. With both Chelsea and Valencia presuming a Bayer win in Belgium, they know that they are playing each other for the final qualifying spot in the group. Chelsea go into the match knowing a victory for them, or a goalless draw will guarantee their progress, whilst Valencia need a win or a score draw. Chelsea have never failed to progress from the group stage of the Champions League since Roman Abramovich took over and thus pressure is huge on boss Andre Villas-Boas. Vilas-Boas' counterpart Unai Emery has likened the match to a 'final' knowing what is on the line and they will be ready for the battle. Valencia come into the match off the back of some particularly impressive form with seven wins from the last eight outings - with their only loss coming at the hands of Real Madrid.
Chelsea in contrast have been anything but consistent with three wins from their last seven matches. However in their last premier league game Chelsea had an impressive 3-0 win and they will be hoping to continue that form and their journey in the Champions League.
