Sunderland vs Chelsea - 10th September 2011

English Premier League 2011/12: Sunderland vs Chelsea, Stadium of Light, 10th Sept, 15:00 GMT
After their international duties, the players return for the domestic encounters. Sunderland is ready to welcome Chelsea at the Stadium of Light this Saturday. Steve Bruce’s side is motivated enough but the problem lies in the central defense where Titus Bramble or Michael Turner are set to start for Sunderland after Steve Bruce tested their abilities in an closed-door friendly match with Newcastle. Nicklas Bendtner is the man to watch from Bruce’s side. The former Arsenal player is set for his debut against Chelsea who came on loan basis for one year.

Chelsea, who started their season with a draw, followed by 2 back to back wins. Didier Drogba, got injured in the last premier league clash and it seemed to everyone that the injury will have a lasting affect. Andre Villas- Boas, the new man of Chelsea is confident about the fitness of Drogba and is eagerly waiting for him to start against the Red Devils next weekend.

"Let us push him to the limit to try for him to be available for Manchester United." Andre Villas-boas

The player to watch in the Chelsea Squad this Saturday is the new signing Mata, who has already impressed the Chelsea fans by scoring a couple of goals.

Petr Cech, David Luiz and Danniel Sturridge are all available for the match and all of them are likely to be in the First 11.

Chelsea has an aim in mind now i.e. to take back what Manchester United took from them last year, premier league title. The start is not as perfect as was expected but the new manager and the players need to be at their best against Sunderland to turn the tables around and make the fans believe that Championship is possible.
