Arsenal vs Marsellie Match Preview
UEFA Champions League is resuming again this week with round 4 games to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday. The games are important as most of the better teams throughout the tournament more or less secure their going through to the knockout phase in the game 4 of the group phase. Two teams that are going to take a clear lead in group F if they win are Arsenal and Marseille who are going to be pitted against each other this week. Arsenal lead the group with 7 points while Marseille are also in a good position with 6 points. The winner of this game is going to be red hot favorite to go through to the knockout phase. While asked two weeks back this would have been an interesting match to predict but things have changed a lot since then and Arsenal are back as big gun team after beating Chelsea in an absolute classic in the Barclays Premier League.
Last time both these teams met Arsenal managed to win 1-0 that too at Marseille home ground. Since then Marseille have won all their three matches. But Arsenal have done even better winning their last five games and at home against Marseille should be able to easily win with the kind of form they are in. Robin Van Persie is again going to be the main man for Arsenal as he has been in red hot form for the Gunners this season.
If Marseille want something out of this game it will be best that they organise their defense and aim for a draw which will still be a great result for them. Our prediction 3-1 in favor of Arsenal with Van Persie at least scoring one goal.
